Since the Association has recently started its activities, those wishing to become members are primarily expected to share the Association's objectives and contribute to its growth in a positive and effective way. Hence, potential members' contribution will consist not only of their annual subscription fees, but also of their active involvement in the Association's initiatives. This will enable A.I.F. to increasingly grow, both in qualitative and numeric terms. Individuals' involvement will ultimately benefit all members in the daily performance of those activities related to Forensic Engineering profession, including:
| - | gathering information and retraining on subjects of mutual interest such as codes, procedures, case studies; |
| - | sharing key problems related to appointments and corresponding payments; |
| - | creation of an (on-line) Register of the Members. This will contain, for each member, an individual summary page providing his/her academic background, profession, specializing sectors within the Forensic Engineering field. All the information will be in line with the data provided in the subscription sheet and following updates; |
| - | possibility to make specific references available; |
| - | special discounts on the purchase of the A.I.F. publications; |
| - | special discounts on enrolment fees for training courses or congresses organised by A.I.F.; |
| - | possibility to create an on-line forum for the discussion of mutual interest subjects; |
| - | entitlement to receiving "Rivista Italiana di Ingegneria Forense", the Association's press tool (this will be available as soon as the funds and the editorial organization will allow its periodical publication). |
| FIRST MEMBERSHIP FOR ORDINARY MEMBERS |
The application form as an Ordinary Member can be presented by those who have achieved a Master's degree in Engineering or Building Engineering - Architecture.
In order to proceed with the first subscription as an Ordinary Member of A.I.F., corresponding to the ranking and requisites established by Regulations, the following instructions apply:
| - | complete the ORDINARY MEMBER MEMBERSHIP FORM in .doc format; |
| - | complete the ORDINARY MEMBER FIRST MEMBERSHIP SHEET in .xls format; |
| - | send a printed version, duly signed (and initialled on each sheet), and the related attachments to: prof. ing. Nicola Augenti, via del Parco Margherita n. 30, 80121 Napoli - Italy; |
| - | contextually, the ORDINARY MEMBER FIRST MEMBERSHIP SHEET in .xls format will be sent to the e-mail address segreteria.aif@pec.it |
The first subscription forms will be processed by the President and proposed for approval to the Executive Board: the outcome of the admission will be communicated to the applicant.
In case the application is accepted, for the membership to be formalized the following instructions apply:
| - | proceed with the payment of the ORDINARY MEMBER FIRST MEMBERSHIP FEE by bank transfer to the Association's account; |
| - | send a copy of the bank transfer receipt to the e-mail address segreteria.aif@pec.it. |
For those Ordinary Members, belonging to one of the three categories described in the Regulations, who have agreed to render public the information provided in the ORDINARY MEMBER MEMBERSHIP FORM, a link will lead to the ORDINARY MEMBER PERSONAL PAGE and to the web site if indicated.
All the information provided in the ORDINARY MEMBER FIRST MEMBERSHIP SHEET will not be rendered public on the net but will be kept in the archive of the Association.
Purely as an example, in order to allow the correct completion of the ORDINARY MEMBER FIRST MEMBERSHIP FORM, the file zip has been provided, containing a summary of the President's subscription form.
| MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL FOR ORDINARY MEMBERS |
In order to renew the annual subscription and update the personal requisites (to be inserted in the individual classifications and in the A.I.F. Members register, the following instructions apply:
| - | complete the ORDINARY MEMBERS RENEWAL FORM in formato .doc ; |
| - | proceed with the payment of the ORDINARY MEMBER RENEWAL FEE; |
| - | send a printed version of the ORDINARY MEMBERS RENEWAL FORM, duly signed with the related attachments to: prof. ing. Nicola Augenti, via del Parco Margherita n. 30, 80121 Napoli - Italy. |
Should the Member also wish to update the information regarding further professional experience (also for the member to be reclassified), the following instructions apply:
| - | complete the ORDINARY MEMBER FIRST MEMBERSHIP FORM in .xls format, limitedly to the relevant points; |
| - | send a printed version, duly signed and initialled on each sheet, along with the ORDINARY MEMBERS RENEWAL FORM and the related attachments t: prof. ing. Nicola Augenti, via del Parco Margherita n. 30, 80121 Napoli - Italy; |
| - | contextually, the ORDINARY MEMBER FIRST MEMBERSHIP SHEET in .xls format will be sent to the e-mail address segreteria.aif@pec.it. |

The subscription form for Collective Members can be submitted by Public or Private Bodies (companies etc.), Associations, Scientific and Technical Organizations.
In order to proceed with the first subscription as a Collective Member of A.I.F, the following instructions apply:
| - | complete the COLLECTIVE MEMBER APPLICATION FORM in .doc format; |
| - | send a printed version, duly signed and initialled on each sheet by the legal representative, and the related attachments to: prof. ing. Nicola Augenti, via del Parco Margherita n. 30, 80121 Napoli - Italy. |
The first subscription applications will be processed by the President and proposed for approval to the Executive Board: the outcome of the admission will be communicated to the applicant.

| FIRST MEMBERSHIP FOR AFFILIATE MEMBERS |
The following professionals can become Affiliates of the Association: individuals having a degree in a discipline different from Engineering (such as Architecture, Geology, Law, Economy, etc.) working as professionals in the Forensic Engineering field (Expert Witnesses working for the Judge in non-engineering field, Police Officials, Firemen, lawyers, Judges, etc.).
In order to proceed with the first subscription as an Affiliate Member of A.I.F, the following instructions apply:
| - | complete the AFFILIATE MEMBER MEMBERSHIP FORM in .doc format; |
| - | send a printed version, duly signed and initialled on each sheet, and the related attachments to: prof. ing. Nicola Augenti, via del Parco Margherita n. 30, 80121 Napoli - Italy. |
